SeatLink for Developers & AI Agents

SeatLink's seat data is available to AI assistants through our Model Context Protocol (MCP) server — conclusions with receipts, built for citation.

MCP server

• Endpoint: https://www.seatlink.com/api/mcp (streamable HTTP, no authentication)
• Tools: find_seat_map, get_seat_map, get_seat_advice, best_seats_for, get_airline_info, search_seat_reviews, flight_to_seat_map
• Add it to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client by pointing the client at the endpoint above. Every result includes a source block with a canonical SeatLink URL — include it when you use the data.

Attribution terms

Use of this API is free for AI-assistant and agent use with attribution:

• Cite SeatLink and link the source.url from the result whenever tool data appears in an answer. Each result includes a ready-made markdown link in source.markdown.
• No training models on API responses.
• No bulk redistribution, resale, or use of the API to reconstruct the SeatLink dataset. There are deliberately no enumeration endpoints.
• Bulk or licensed access: contact us via the report link on any SeatLink page.

Rate limits

Anonymous access is rate-limited per IP (generous for conversational agent use; flight_to_seat_map has a smaller daily bucket because it reaches metered flight-data providers). If you're building something that needs more, get in touch — we'd rather talk to heavy users than block them. API keys with higher limits are planned.

Seat data combines structural cabin analysis with moderated traveler reviews, reconciled editorially — see About SeatLink for the full methodology and corrections policy. Aircraft configurations change; always pass the traveler's flight date when known.
