About SeatLink

SeatLink helps travelers pick the right seat before they fly. We publish interactive seat maps, seat-by-seat ratings, traveler reviews and photos, and editorial cabin guides for hundreds of airline and aircraft configurations. SeatLink is operated by team of (too) frequent travelers at Eleven Oxford LLC. Our promise is in the tagline: No Bad Trips.

How we rate seats

Every seat rating on SeatLink combines three kinds of evidence:

• Personal experience. We fly a lot, all over the world, long-haul and short-haul, from Cessnas to A380s. When we fly we take pictures, walk the cabin, make notes, and apply that knowledge to the seat maps we build.
• Structural analysis of the cabin. We build each aircraft's seat map from the airline's own configuration and score seats on the factors that reliably shape comfort: seat pitch and width, exit rows and bulkheads, proximity to lavatories and galleys, position over the wing, misaligned or missing windows, limited recline, and reduced-width seats.
• Traveler reports. Reviews and photos submitted by people who actually sat in the seat. These surface the things a floor plan can't — a cold draft at an exit door, an intrusive seat box, a window worth choosing.

The three are reconciled editorially: where traveler reports contradict the structural score, we investigate and adjust. Seat guides on each aircraft page explain the reasoning in plain language — which seats to book, which to avoid, and why.

Aircraft configurations change. Airlines retrofit cabins, swap subfleets, and move exit rows. When we learn a map no longer matches what's flying, we rebuild it from current sources.

Corrections

If something on SeatLink is wrong — a seat map that doesn't match the aircraft, a rating that doesn't square with your experience, a factual error in a guide — we want to know. Use the Report an issue link at the bottom of any seat map page. We recheck the underlying data and update the page; where a correction is material, the page's "last verified" date reflects the recheck.

Contributors and content

• Traveler reviews and photos are user submissions. Every submission is moderated before publication — nothing appears on the site without passing review.
• Editorial content (seat guides, summaries of external reviews, airline blurbs) is drafted by the team with the assistance of AI tools and reviewed by the SeatLink editorial team before going live. We link to the external sources we summarize.
• We don't accept payment for ratings or placement. Some links on SeatLink are affiliate links, which never affect how a seat or airline is rated. Free users see ads, paid users do not.
