I traveled on my own and had a window seat which meant every time i wanted to go to the restrooms I had to climb over someone I didn't know. I also felt that the seat did not recline enough for a comfortable sleep.

An Absolute Joy
A great flight all round. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to fly business class with Air New Zealand on a 777-200 from Perth to Auckland. It was an absolutely fabulous experience especially with the flat lie beds offered. Being a long haul flight I was worried about leg room. But obviously this was no concern as soon as I boarded. The food offered was sensational and the lamb dish I opted for highlighted the skills of Air New Zealand’s catering team. The only thing I could fault was the in flight entertainment which was extremely limited for an international flight, but was more than compensated for by the friendly and helpful cabin crew.

good experience
air new zealand is the way to get around NZ if you're in star alliance and want to earn those points. reciprocal lounge access is a blessing because koru lounges are pretty good. otherwise it's a pretty standard experience, with a little bit of NZ flair.
