pretty good airline trip date was august 2021

1st i am 6ft 6 in so keep that in mind. Amanda and i flew the Air Europa from MIA to TFN and back. all 4 flights at that time where on the 789. the 1st fligth we sat right behind the exit row in the back and had plenty of legroom for me. 31 in at least. now the other 3 flights in the same row was very snug. 28-29 in of pitch. speaking to the FA on the MAD to TFN flight he said this is the new conifguration and the one with more legroom was the old config. so it looks like air europa is doing what every one else in europe is doing and taking away legroom. The flights themselves: if you are grounded with a solid head on your shoulders and not one of those who are stuck up and thinks they are more important than they really are you will like air europa economy. while there is no complimentary sodas and stuff. you can have unlimited bottled water. i myself had to have had at least 6 on the flight from Miami to madrid and back (nothing on the mad to tfn and back). on the ground the flight crew is pleasant and chatty. when in the air though they are strictly business. they are still pleasant but they are focused on the task at hand and not very chatty. the food on the long haul was pretty tasty. only on chocie and it was pasta. it was alfredo eastbound and marinara westbound being as most of European carriers are going to sub 30 in pitch i would highly recommend Air Europa. i would compare the service to Delta (only no free snacks or drinks expcept water). speaking of Delta Air Europa is in skyteam but you can not earn skyteam miles on them. which is very weird but be wary of that.

If you can, find another seat... no seat reclining in front; near the lavatory; no underseat stowage.

  • ★★★★★economyseatlink

Better than most - has extra legroom; the seat in front does not recline.

  • ★★★★economyseatlink

Pretty good seat all things considered, extra legroom; near the lavatory; armrests do not move; traytable in armrest means narrower seat.

  • economyseatlink

Look elsewhere, may have limited recline; near the lavatory.

  • economyseatlink

Definitely better seats to sit in, may have limited recline; next to the lavatory.

  • economyseatlink

Avoid this seat if you can... next to the lavatory.

  • ★★economyseatlink

Not terrible, but not good either, may have limited recline.

  • ★★★★economyseatlink

Good seat with some minor issues, extra legroom; near the lavatory; armrests do not move; traytable in armrest means narrower seat.
