Air China
Air China was founded in 1988, the result of a government-manded division of the Civil Aviation Administration. Beijing-based Air China was tasked with handling the country's robust catalogue of international flights, and today remains one of the largest carriers within the country. Air China currently serves destinations in every hemisphere, with 201 routes permanently offered. This full-service carrier is a member of the Star Alliance, with additional partnerships with international airlines such as Air Canada, El Al, Lufthansa, United, Virgin, and Scandanavian Airlines among many others.
