    Torture

A trans Atlantic flight in these seats is brutal, even for someone of average height and weight like me. The 250 lb gent next to me tried his best to fit in and to be the least bother possible, but it was useless. This last flight (Dublin to Toronto May 29th 2026) has finally put me off air travel. You'll have to book some other sucker to replace me. Bravo Air Canada. The fact that you give "more weight" to verified reviews is evidence enough that you seek to reduce the number of published negative reviews

    Worse than economy

seat back is fabric over the frame, no padding. Seat bottom depressed in the middle, like sitting on a toilet. Metal bar runs across the seat behind your shoulder blades, and another one behind your hips. no lower leg support, just a foot rest which can't be used if you put something under the seat in front of you. No entertainment screen. 2A beside me was the same.

    Many problems

Very uncomfortable, seat back is fabric over metal, no padding, metal bar runs across the back behind shoulder blades, seat bottom feels like the center is depressed, like sitting on a toilet, with a bar behind your hips. No lower leg support, just a foot rest which is unusable if you have stowed something under the seat in from of you. Might as well be in economy. Other seat nearby were the same. Apparently this is an older model of plane.

Usually good premium economy seat but limited (half the usual) recline ability due to bulk head. Shouldn’t be charging full Premium . Econ price for a seat without equal functionality as others in the class.

Seats so close together, you cant open your laptop

I fly this route regularly for business. I am 5'6" and my knees touch the seat in front. I don't know how anyone who's tall would be comfortable. The seats do not recline much, and when the person in front of me reclines, even if I fully recline, I cannot fully open my laptop to 90 degrees on the tray table. Very cramped and awkward. Also, there is very limited overhead compartment space on these planes, therefore there are often people with carryons who cannot find space, and inevitably some carryon bags have to be checked by the flight crew before takeoff. There are no video screens on the backs of the seats on this type of plane. (even though they reguluarly use it for flights over 3 hours)
