No window
If you're looking for a window seat, this is not it. You'll be right up against the ribs of the fuselage. If you're a big guy like me, nearly aby other sesr on the aircraft than row 7 will be comfortable. It'd a crappy seat charging extra is a scam

737 Max 8 seat comfort
Seat positioning is ok BUT the seat cushions are extraordinarily uncomfortable. They feel paper-thing and within 45 minutes of departure, my butt feels like I'm sitting on a rock. Not just Westjet seats but anytime I've flown on a 737 Max 8 with any airline. Any additional padding would be a bonus. I'll be taking my own seat cushion on future Max 8 flights.

toilet nightmare
2 toilets for all the steerage class...private toilet for the 12 people in first class..if you have an aisle seat be ready for elbows and asses in your face for a good chunk of the flight...these planes need to be sold off to some third world airline or cut up for scrap

Bad seat
This seat has no window. If you are uncomfortable in confined spaces, this seat should be avoided.

$50.00 for a seat that has leg room but painfully hard after about 3 hours, and barely reclines
We made the mistake of booking row 12 seats on our out going flight to hawaii from vancouver and it was a claustrophobic experience. These seats do not recline. We paid extra for the exit row for our return flight and were delighted with the leg room , how ever these seats barely recline and they are so hard, it seemed they had no padding. I didn't notice this so much in row 12 but my husband was in pain coming back and I was as well after about 2 1/2 hours. the aisles on this plane are so narrow you have to squeeze by anyone to get to the washroom. No TV screens or anything to prop up a phone or tablet so that adds another level of discomfort.

Very disappointed. I thought I was paying for a window seat. I had an extremely claustrophobic 5 hr flight.

Aisle seat
Good seat if you’re flying economy. You get to be close to the front of the plane so you get off fast. If you’re a constant bathroom person, avoid this seat because the bathrooms are at the back of the plane and you’ll have to walk pretty far. Easy access to the aisle, though.
