Volotea
Volotea (IATA V7, ICAO VOL) is a Spanish low-cost carrier headquartered in Barcelona that concentrates on point-to-point links between small and mid-sized European cities. Rather than a single hub, it spreads flying across roughly twenty bases in France, Italy, Spain and Greece, including Marseille, Toulouse, Nantes, Bordeaux, Lyon, Strasbourg, Venice, Verona, Naples, Palermo, Olbia, Bilbao and Asturias, serving well over 100 airports across some 17 countries, all within Europe and the Mediterranean; there is no long-haul flying. The current fleet is all Airbus, made up of A319 and A320 family jets. Volotea began with the Boeing 717-200, which it retired in 2021, and it belongs to no global airline alliance.
