Volaris
Volaris (IATA Y4, ICAO VOI) is a Mexican low-cost carrier built around hubs at Mexico City, Guadalajara and Tijuana, with additional bases such as Monterrey and Cancún. Its network is weighted toward domestic Mexican routes and cross-border flying to the United States, complemented by service to Central America and parts of South America, supported by affiliates in El Salvador and Costa Rica. The fleet is entirely Airbus A320 family, roughly 150 aircraft and skewing increasingly to new-generation models, so seat maps here cover the Airbus A319, A320, A320neo and A321. Volaris is not part of any global airline alliance.

I almost had to pay double
Traveling with Volaris was not a good experience for me. My sister in law and me bought tickets to Cancun from Tijuana in January 2013. It is assumed that when is a national flight you must be one hour prior to the departure. We arrived 40 minutes before and the check in attendant told us that we were out of time. We were not the only ones, another 10 people were behind us and has already missed their flight too. We stayed one hour discussing with the attendant and finally gave us a ticket for the next day with an extra cost.
