VivaColombia

VivaColombia, later branded Viva Air Colombia, was a Colombian ultra-low-cost carrier that flew from 2012 until it suspended and then ceased all operations on 27 February 2023 following insolvency and the collapse of its planned merger with Avianca. It was based in Rionegro and operated mainly from Medellín's José María Córdova and Bogotá's El Dorado, with additional bases at Cali and Cartagena. Its network was largely domestic within Colombia, complemented by international routes across Latin America to Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, plus United States services to Miami and Orlando. The fleet was built entirely around the Airbus A320 family, including A320ceo and A320neo aircraft, and the airline belonged to no global alliance.
