Virgin Australia
Virgin Australia (IATA VA, ICAO VOZ) is an Australian airline headquartered and hubbed in Brisbane, with substantial operations at Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It concentrates on a broad domestic network across Australia, complemented by shorter international routes to New Zealand, Fiji and other Pacific islands, Bali and nearby markets. Its current fleet centres on the Boeing 737, chiefly the 737-800 with some 737-700, alongside regional ATR 72 and Fokker 100 aircraft; the maps here also include earlier types such as the Airbus A320 and A330-200, Boeing 777-300ER, Embraer 190 and Fokker 50. Virgin Australia is not part of any global alliance.

Richard Branson Wouldn't Want To Fly On This Airline
It was an ordeal. First, the gate at LAX was changed at the last minute. Then after boarding, there was an hour or so wait as cargo was supposedly loaded. That was the message from the captain. The seat was very uncomfortable, the food was inedible and the rudeness of the cabin crew was unbelievable. The seat location was a good choice, there is a 3-3-3 layout in economy so as this was an aisle seat in the middle section of the row it meant not having to get up for other passengers. There is a screen in the headrest in front of the passenger which has a selection of movies, television shows and music, although the best feature on it may have been the golf video game which has two courses of 18 holes. Flying on their domestic flights has been free of problems, but on their international flights they have always had delays and bad service.
