Transavia (IATA HV, ICAO TRA) is a Dutch low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group, operating primarily from its main base at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, with additional Dutch bases including Rotterdam The Hague and Eindhoven. It concentrates on short- and medium-haul leisure flying, serving destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, including markets such as Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and the Canary Islands. Its fleet is built around single-aisle Boeing 737 jets, chiefly the 737-800 alongside the 737-700, with newer Airbus A321neo aircraft entering service. Transavia does not belong to a global airline alliance.
