Thunder Airlines

Thunder Airlines is a Canadian scheduled, charter and medevac operator based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, using the codes IATA THU and ICAO THU. Its main hub is Thunder Bay Airport, with a second charter base at Timmins, and its network is entirely regional rather than long-haul, linking a handful of Northern Ontario points including Moosonee, Fort Albany, Kashechewan, Attawapiskat and Peawanuck, many of them remote communities without year-round road access. The fleet is small and turboprop-based, built around Hawker Beechcraft light twin turboprops such as the King Air alongside single-engine Cessna Caravans. The airline belongs to no global alliance.
