Surinam Airways, the national carrier of Suriname flying under the codes PY and SLM, operates from its base at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport near Paramaribo. Its network centers on links between Suriname, the Caribbean, and northern South America, serving points such as Curaçao, Aruba, Trinidad, Guyana, and Belém, alongside longer routes to Miami and its transatlantic service to Amsterdam.
