SunExpress Deutschland

SunExpress Deutschland, which used the codes XG and SXS, was a German leisure airline headquartered in Frankfurt and operated as a subsidiary of SunExpress, the Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa joint venture, with further bases at Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Munich and Stuttgart. From 2011 it flew holiday routes from Germany to Turkey, Greece, Spain and the Canary Islands, Egypt's Red Sea resorts and other points in southern Europe and North Africa, and for several years operated leased Airbus A330-200s on Eurowings long-haul services. Its own fleet was built around the Boeing 737-800. It belonged to no alliance and ceased operations in June 2020.
