Starbow

Starbow (IATA code S9, ICAO code IKM) was a Ghanaian carrier that flew from its base at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, having begun scheduled service in 2011 under the Aero Surveys company. Its network was primarily domestic, linking Accra with Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale, alongside short regional West African flying that included Accra to Cotonou. The fleet was built around BAe Systems 146-300 quadjets in a two-class layout, later supplemented by an Avro RJ100 and a leased ATR 72-500. Starbow belonged to no airline alliance. Operations were suspended in November 2017 after a runway accident and never resumed.
