Skytrans

Skytrans (IATA and ICAO code SKP) is a Queensland-based Australian regional carrier headquartered in Cairns, with its main base at Cairns Airport and further operating bases at Horn Island and Brisbane. Its network is domestic and short-haul, concentrated on Cape York and the Torres Strait, serving communities such as Kowanyama, Coen, Lockhart River, Bamaga, Badu Island and Murray Island, along with southern Queensland services from Brisbane to towns including Chinchilla and Taroom, plus charter and resource-sector flying. The fleet is built around de Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops, chiefly Series 100 and Series 300 aircraft. Skytrans belongs to no global airline alliance.
