SilkAir
SilkAir was a Singapore-based regional carrier (IATA MI, ICAO SLK) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, operating from its hub at Singapore Changi Airport. It served more than fifty destinations across the Asia-Pacific, including points in Australia, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Its fleet mixed Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft with newer Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 jets. The airline belonged to no global alliance. It ceased independent operations in May 2021, when it was fully merged into Singapore Airlines.
