Sharp Airlines is an Australian regional carrier (IATA SH, ICAO SHA) founded in Hamilton, Victoria, with bases at Melbourne's Essendon Airport, Adelaide, Launceston, Brisbane and Perth, and its main maintenance base at Launceston. Its scheduled network is domestic and short-haul, centred on Bass Strait services to King Island and Flinders Island alongside links to Burnie (Wynyard), Launceston, Melbourne, Adelaide and Port Augusta, supplemented by charter, fly-in fly-out and freight work nationally. The fleet is built around Fairchild Swearingen SA226 and SA227 Metroliner turboprops, the types covered by the seat maps here. Sharp Airlines does not belong to a global alliance.
