SATENA

SATENA is Colombia's state-owned airline, flying from its main base at Bogotá's El Dorado International Airport with additional regional bases including Villavicencio and Cali. Its network is overwhelmingly domestic, covering more than 170 routes across some 28 departments and reaching remote communities in Amazonas, Chocó, Guaviare, Putumayo, Vaupés and Arauca, plus a single cross-border service. The fleet mixes Embraer ERJ-145 regional jets with turboprops, including recently delivered ATR 72-600s and DHC-6 Twin Otters used on short strips. SATENA belongs to no global alliance. It uses the codes 9R and NSE.
