SATA Air Acores

SATA Air Açores, the Portuguese regional carrier trading under codes IATA SP and ICAO SAT, links the nine islands of the Azores archipelago in the mid-Atlantic. Its operations center on Ponta Delgada on São Miguel, with additional bases at Horta and Terceira, and it forms the inter-island arm of the wider SATA Group alongside its longer-haul affiliate. The fleet is built around turboprops, and on our maps you will see the Bombardier Q200 in several configurations as well as the larger De Havilland Dash 8 Q400. The airline belongs to no global alliance.
