Regional Express

Regional Express, operating as Rex under IATA code ZL and ICAO code RXA, is an Australian regional airline headquartered in Mascot, New South Wales, with principal hubs at Sydney and Melbourne and further activity at Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville and Perth. It links dozens of regional and remote communities across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia, often as the sole air service. Its backbone is a large fleet of Saab 340 turboprops, complemented over the years by Hawker Beechcraft 1900D aircraft on lower-density routes. Rex belongs to no global airline alliance and operates independently.
