MIAT Mongolian Airlines (IATA OM, ICAO MGL) is the state-owned flag carrier of Mongolia, operating from its hub at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar. From there it serves domestic points across Mongolia alongside international routes concentrated in East Asia, including Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Busan, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, with Southeast Asian markets such as Bangkok and longer-haul European services to Frankfurt, Istanbul and Moscow. Its fleet is built around Boeing narrowbodies and widebodies, so travelers here will typically see the Boeing 737 and 737-800 on regional flights and the Boeing 767 and 767-300 on longer sectors. The airline does not belong to a global alliance.

Pitch must be 29-30" or less, felt quite tight compared to say Southwest. Seat width is standard so about 17. Most seats barely recline. No IFE or phone holder, just the standard tray.

Pretty good
MIAT was a surprisingly good experience considering how small the Mongolian aviation industry is. The food was surprisingly good and filling with ample servings and a diverse alcohol choice available. The in-flight entertainment wasn't anything particularly interesting due to a small flip-out screen but that was remedied with the overall comfort of the seat and pillow so I slept most of the way. The service however was quite exceptional with the steward and stewardesses being surprisingly helpful and thoughtful with good English. All in all, I would definitely use MIAT again. The important thing to consider with them is they have pretty limited destinations.
