Meridiana fly was an Italian carrier, using the codes IG and ISS, headquartered and hubbed at Olbia Costa Smeralda on Sardinia, with additional bases and traffic through airports such as Milan, Rome, Naples, and Cagliari. It operated domestic Italian services alongside European leisure and scheduled routes and longer-haul flights to destinations including North America. Its fleet mixed narrowbody and widebody jets, among them the Boeing 737-700 and 737-800, the McDonnell Douglas MD-80, the Boeing 767 in 200 and 300 variants, and the Airbus A330. It belonged to no alliance and ceased operating under this name in 2018, when it was rebranded as Air Italy.
