MANGO
Mango was a South African low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of South African Airways, headquartered at O. R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, which served as its primary hub alongside Cape Town and Durban. Founded in 2006, it operated mainly domestic routes linking cities such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth, with limited regional international service including Zanzibar. Its fleet was built around the Boeing 737, and travelers here will see seat maps for the Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320. Mango belonged to no airline alliance, and it ceased operations in 2021 after suspending flights that April.
