Malindo Air

Malindo Air was a Malaysian carrier operating under IATA code OD and ICAO code MXD, based at Kuala Lumpur International Airport with a secondary base at Subang. It flew a regional and short-to-medium-haul network across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and other parts of Asia, along with domestic Malaysian routes. Its fleet centered on Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 narrowbodies alongside turboprop ATR 72 and ATR 42 aircraft used on shorter sectors. The airline belonged to no global alliance. Part of the Lion Air Group, Malindo Air ceased operating under that name in 2022, when it was rebranded as Batik Air Malaysia.
