Mahan Air (IATA W5, ICAO IRM) is a privately owned Iranian carrier based in Tehran, operating its primary hub at Imam Khomeini International Airport with further operations at Mashhad. Its network centers on domestic routes across Iran alongside regional services to the Middle East and links reaching East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Russia. The fleet is Airbus-heavy, including widebodies such as the Airbus A340-600, Airbus A310 and Airbus A300-600 flown on longer or higher-capacity sectors, plus the BAe Systems 146-300 on shorter routes. It is not a member of any airline alliance.
