Antigua and BarbudaWebsite

LIAT, also known as Leeward Islands Air Transport, was a regional carrier based in Antigua and Barbuda, operating from its main hub at V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua. It served a network of short-haul routes across the Eastern Caribbean, connecting islands of the Leeward and Windward chains with destinations such as Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. Its fleet was built around turboprop aircraft, chiefly the ATR 42 and ATR 72. The airline belonged to no alliance. LIAT ceased its main operations in 2020 amid mounting financial difficulties and the pandemic.
