LASER Airlines (IATA QL, ICAO LER) is a Venezuelan carrier whose operations centre on Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas, with further traffic through cities such as Maracaibo, Porlamar and Barcelona. Its network combines domestic routes within Venezuela with regional international services to Caribbean and Latin American markets including Colombia, Panama, Curaçao and the Dominican Republic, plus occasional longer-haul flying to Europe. The fleet is comparatively small and built around McDonnell Douglas MD-80 series narrowbodies, with Airbus A340 widebody equipment used on its longest sectors. LASER does not belong to any of the global airline alliances.
