Island Air

Island Air was a Hawaii-based regional carrier that operated interisland flights under the codes WP and MKU until it ceased operations on November 10, 2017, shortly after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Based at Honolulu on Oahu, it served a short-haul network linking the main Hawaiian islands, including Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island, with no long-haul or international routes. In its final years the airline flew an all-turboprop fleet of ATR 72s, the type shown on the seat maps here, having earlier operated Dash 8 aircraft. Island Air belonged to no global airline alliance.
