InselAir Aruba

InselAir Aruba was a subsidiary of Curaçao-based InselAir International, operating from its hub at Queen Beatrix International Airport in Oranjestad, Aruba, after commencing service in December 2013. The carrier belonged to no global alliance and flew a regional network linking Aruba with destinations across the Caribbean, South America, and the United States, including markets in Colombia and Venezuela. Its fleet was built around McDonnell Douglas MD-82 and MD-83 jets alongside the Fokker 70, the aircraft types travelers will find on these seat maps. Facing financial troubles tied to funds trapped in Venezuela, the airline declared bankruptcy and ceased operations in June 2017.
