Hinterland Aviation

Hinterland Aviation is a regional airline headquartered at Cairns Airport in Queensland, Australia, operating scheduled and charter flights from bases at Cairns, Townsville and Horn Island. Its network is entirely short-haul, linking coastal North Queensland with Cooktown, Cape York communities, Torres Strait islands and other remote settlements, with charter work extending further afield. The fleet is made up of light turboprops, principally the single-engine Cessna 208 Caravan and Grand Caravan seating up to about twelve passengers, alongside Beechcraft King Air and the 19-seat Cessna 408 SkyCourier.
