Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines (IATA HA, ICAO HAL) is a United States carrier based in the Hawaiian Islands, operating from its primary hub at Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Its network combines frequent interisland service across Hawaii with longer routes to the US mainland, Asia, and the South Pacific, reaching destinations in Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti. On these maps you may see the Airbus A330-200 and A321, the Boeing 717-200 and 767-300, and the ATR 42-500 turboprop. Hawaiian is not part of a global airline alliance.

Transpacific and Transcontinental was a slog…
Hawaiian Airlines is one of those airlines that makes it look good before you fly, and then you wonder why you got stuck on it again. We flew on a mileage ticket, in two seats next to each other. The seats are not very comfortable, and the IFE is old, slow, and has become an afterthought since they no longer can charge for it. The seats recline too much- the couple in front of us decided to recline ALL THE WAY so we couldn’t do anything- even watching the IFE was difficult. There’s no air vents so when you’re hot, we’ll, there’s no recourse. Overall, we arrived after 9 hours exhausted and in pain.
