Groznyy Avia

Groznyy Avia (IATA ZG, ICAO GOZ) was a Russian regional carrier established in 2007 by the government of the Chechen Republic and based at its home hub, Grozny Airport. Operating as Chechnya's flag carrier, it flew a largely domestic scheduled network within Russia, linking Grozny and other regional cities such as Voronezh and Kursk with Moscow and other points, along with limited international service to Yerevan in Armenia before those flights were dropped. The fleet consisted of Soviet-built Yakovlev Yak-42 and Yak-142 trijets dating from the late 1980s and early 1990s. It belonged to no alliance and ceased operations in 2016.
