Firefly (IATA FY, ICAO FFM) is a Malaysian regional carrier within the Malaysia Aviation Group, flying its turboprop network from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, near Kuala Lumpur, with Penang as a second base and jet operations centred on Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Its ATR 72-500s handle short domestic hops to points such as Penang, Langkawi, Kota Bharu, Alor Setar and Kuala Terengganu, plus cross-border services to Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia, while Boeing 737-800s cover longer regional routes.
