Far Eastern Air

Far Eastern Air Transport (IATA FE, ICAO FEA) was a Taiwanese carrier founded in 1957 and based in Taipei, using Taipei Songshan as its main hub, with Taoyuan handling international services and further bases at Kaohsiung and Taichung. Its network centred on domestic trunk and outlying-island routes to Penghu and Kinmen, alongside regional international and charter flying to mainland Chinese cities such as Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Nanning, plus points including Siem Reap, Da Nang and Palau; it flew no long-haul services. The fleet mixed McDonnell Douglas MD-80 series jets, including MD-82s and MD-83s, with ATR 72-600 turboprops. It belonged to no global alliance and ceased all operations on 13 December 2019.
