  Always a pleasure to fly Delta

  Flew this in March of 2019, right before Covid hit. This was a long flight - eight hours and twenty-six minutes from Nairobi, Kenya, Africa to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The flight took off at 11:59 pm. We were given wet cloths to wash our hands, then given a light snack. I sat in the middle row of 4 seats across. There was ample room for my feet, there was a movie screen on the back of the seat in front of me and earphones were given out for free. Boarding had been smooth. The lights were lowered after the snack and I was able to sleep for a few hours. We were awoken at 5 am for breakfast and preparation to land at 6:59 am. The flight had been smooth, the takeoff easy and the landing was great. I felt I had a safe flight, piloted by experts, ands the attendants were all pleasant. My next flight will be with Delta, of course......

  This flight had mechanical problems that left us on the tarmac for almost two hours without any air conditioning. It was very uncomfortable. After the problem was fixed and the plane refueled, the flight went well.
