Obsolete plane
Plane is old. No entertainment system. Tray table is so small it barely held a drink. 10C will get you hit with carts and passengers due to the drastic aisle change. The seat is arranged such that your left leg goes into the aisle in first class.

No good in terms of legroom
Sometimes bulkhead is a win, sometimes not. In this case it definitely isn’t: you’re close to the toilet which isn’t really a huge deal, but legroom is definitely tighter than the other seats in first class on the 717. I’d say row 2 is the best choice on this plane

Good seat with some minor issues, has extra legroom; curtain or partition in front may be bothersome.

Overall a not a good choice, the seat in front does not recline; has limited recline; traytable in armrest means narrower seat.

There is underseat storage for this seat, contrary to what I read elsewhere
Another site suggested this seat has no underseat storage. This is not true -- you can put your bag under the seat in front of you. Also, when I boarded, this seat was in group 1, so finding space in the overhead bins was not a problem. The seat is separated from adjacent seats by a barrier which extends from the arm rest down to the base of the seat, meaning you can't spill over into the next seat and neither can the person to your left. There is no one to your right.

Solid choice, this exit row seat has extra legroom; the seat in front does not recline; will not recline; no underseat stowage during takeoff and landing; may be missing an armrest; seat cushion may be very firm.
