Dana Airlines
Dana Air, a Nigerian carrier flying as 9J/DAN, was headquartered in Lagos and based at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, operating from Terminal 2 (MMA2) there. Its network was entirely domestic and built around Lagos, with services to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Owerri and Enugu, plus Abuja links from Port Harcourt and Uyo; it flew no international or long-haul routes and belonged to no airline alliance. The fleet consisted of narrowbody jets, chiefly McDonnell Douglas MD-83s alongside a smaller number of Boeing 737-300s, with a Learjet used for charters. Nigeria's civil aviation authority suspended the airline's operating certificate in April 2024, and scheduled flying has not resumed.
