CemAir is a South African regional carrier, coded 5Z, based at Johannesburg's O. R. Tambo International Airport, which serves as its main hub and the anchor of most of its schedule. Its network is concentrated on domestic routes linking Johannesburg with cities such as Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein alongside smaller or otherwise unserved airports including George, Plettenberg Bay, Margate and Hoedspruit, plus cross-border services to Botswana and Zimbabwe; there is no long-haul flying, and charter work supplements the scheduled operation. The fleet is built around Bombardier CRJ100, CRJ200 and CRJ900 regional jets, De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops and Beechcraft 1900D aircraft. CemAir belongs to no global alliance.
