Cathay Dragon (Dragonair)
Cathay Dragon, formerly Dragonair (IATA KA, ICAO HDA), was a Hong Kong–based regional airline and a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific. It operated from its hub at Hong Kong International Airport, concentrating on short- and medium-haul routes across mainland China and other parts of Asia, including destinations in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Its fleet was built around Airbus narrowbodies, principally the A320 and A321, alongside widebody Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The carrier did not belong to a global alliance, and it ceased operations in October 2020.
