Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the flag carrier of Bangladesh, operating as BG (ICAO BBC) from its principal hub at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, with additional operations through Chattogram and Sylhet. Its network concentrates on the Middle East and South and Southeast Asia, and reaches Europe via London along with select long-haul markets. The fleet centers on Boeing types, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Boeing 777 in 777-200ER and 777-300 configurations, and the Boeing 737-800, with the Airbus A310 appearing in earlier layouts. The airline does not belong to any global alliance.

Flew with Biman Bangladesh Airlines BG-248 S2-AFP from DXB-DAC with a one-hour stop in ZYL. Food and legroom were decent, but the IFE didn't work. If I had to rate it out of 10, I'd give it a 7.5/10.
