Azerbaijan Airlines, known as AZAL and coded J2/AHY, is the state-owned flag carrier of Azerbaijan, operating from its hub at Baku's Heydar Aliyev International Airport. From Baku it flies across Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, Asia including China, and to the United States, using Baku as a connecting point between Europe and Asia.
