Significant Leg Room over Economy; Inhumane Width
Spent $40 and upgraded to this seat, which AA calls a “Main Cabin Extra”- 6” additional legroom and free cocktails. Worth it, as I am 6’1 and the economy seating looked inhumane. The width of these seats is criminal. I’ll admit I’m a bigger guy (250) but I honestly had to cross my right arm over my body to avoid touching my seat mate. For three hours. Dunno there’s much other option on this flight unless you pay for business class. Outside of the width, the only other complaint was the cushion- my tailbone is aching after this short flight. Beyond that, if you’re over 5’10”, upgrade to this seat unless you are a masochist. And then pray to God youre part of the population under a foot wide, otherwise you’re gonna be getting real friendly with your neighbor.

Definitely has some issues otherwise ok, near the galley; noisier than others.

Just not a good seat, may have extra legroom; no underseat stowage; no under-seat stowage during takeoff and landing; traytable in armrest means narrower seat; window view is obstructed; noisier than others.

If you can, find another seat... does not recline (exit row behind).
