BEST seat in the house !
My favorite seat - extra legroom, coat rack is right in front, you're usually the first to be served and you have a Window and an Aisle seat! Lots of room here. My only downside is that there might be some galley noise but that doesn't bother me since I have headphones :)

Offset location means you're getting bumped - literally !
Seat 5C is offset, so everyone boarding bumps into your legs and right shoulder. Not having a seat in front of you means during takeoff and landing, you can stretch your legs completely. But during the flight, you'll end up not doing that because you have to constantly move them for Flight Attendants/people walking in the aisle. If you have drinks on your tray, it gets a little dicey. Regardless of the leg issue, your right shoulder will get bumped frequently because people have to make that shift and usually do it too late.

Offset location provides more legroom and underseat storage
While seat 5C suffers from passenger bumps, 5D doesn't. It is protected by the protruding seat in front. That offset allows you to have great left elbow room as well as more underseat storage in front of you. My favorite seat in the Embraer 190.

Solid choice, no seat reclining in front of you; may have extra legroom; no underseat stowage; traytable in armrest means narrower seat.

Good and bad, but overall an ok seat, may have limited recline.

Not terrible, but not good either, does not recline (exit row behind).

Could go either way on this seat, this exit row seat has extra legroom; the seat in front does not recline; no under-seat stowage during takeoff and landing; may be missing an armrest; seat cushion may be very firm.
