don't recommend
doesnt recline - counts as an exit row seat even though it is not actually an exit row seat
No window
12 alpha is missing a window, just a blank panel
NO WINDOW
There’s a reason why this seat near the front of Economy shows up as a “free” seat at booking while all the seats around it have to be bought as Preferred Seating: there’s no window. The seat in front blocks any possible viewing out of that row’s window. And painfully contorting back and to your left, to try get a glimpse out the window at the seat behind you shows nothing but wing and engine. Inexplicably, there IS a window across the aisle at 12F…but NOT at 12A. So skip this “free” seat if you actually want a window seat.
No window!
Not Bad!
I’ve never had a seat this far in back of Airliner. 1st class not available. SHORT Flight anyway! I was able to change the first leg of the trip to 1st class. Not the second leg.
Windowless window seat.
The seat has a wall that curves into the seat. No window. Avoid the seat if you are an adult or a larger person. Do not reserve the seat if you plan on a window.
average seat
flight AA 408 out of DFW (6/30/2021)on a 737-800 Oasis version was less than average. there was no IFE, poor recline, seat cushion was rather thin, leg room just ok for a 6.0' guy, service was fair (drink and cookie), but overall bearable for a 3.0 hour flight. In the future I will explore other aircraft and airlines. also rely on posts from other travelers about their experience with a particular aircraft.
This seat did not recline. American Lies!!!
This seat did not recline even though the airline told me it would have a slight recline. The was free beverage and wine, but it was a long flight and I was offered the wine only once. The stewardess must have gone into hiding.
No window!
Like being in a cave. Plus when person in front reclines it’s right on top of you.
I think I'm in the wrong seat!
16E - Paid $29.12 for a preferred seat and got a regular economy seat. Big rip off!
16F - Paid $29.12 for a preferred seat and got a regular economy seat. Big rip off!
Less room than any other window seat
Terrible seat for an adult
Better than some but not the best, no seat reclining in front; no underseat stowage.
Just not a good seat, may have limited recline; near the lavatory.
Could be an issue for some travelers, may have limited recline.
Definitely better seats to sit in, may have limited recline; near the lavatory.
Solid choice, no seat reclining in front; no underseat stowage.
Good seat with some minor issues, no seat reclining in front; no underseat stowage.
Definitely better seats to sit in, may have limited recline; near the lavatory.
