Al-Naser Airlines
Al-Naser Airlines (IATA code NR, ICAO MHK), later marketed as Al Naser Wings, was a privately owned Iraqi carrier based in Baghdad and hubbed at Baghdad International Airport, with Damascus serving as a secondary focus point. Founded in the mid-2000s and flying commercially from 2009, it concentrated on short and medium-haul regional routes across the Middle East and neighbouring countries, including services to Syria, Iran, Turkey, Armenia and the Gulf, alongside seasonal and charter work; it operated no long-haul network. Its small fleet consisted of narrowbody jets, chiefly Airbus A320-family and Boeing 737 types. The airline belonged to no global alliance and ceased operations in 2019.
