Aklak

Aklak Air (6L/AKK) is an Inuvialuit-owned regional carrier based at Inuvik Mike Zubko Airport in Canada's Northwest Territories, formed as a joint venture with Kenn Borek Air. Its network is compact and entirely northern: scheduled flights link Inuvik with Western Arctic communities such as Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour and Ulukhaktok, plus seasonal service to Fort McPherson, alongside charter work across the Arctic, including Tuktoyaktuk and remote off-airport sites on floats, wheel-skis or tundra tires. The small turboprop fleet centres on the De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter, the type you will see on our seat maps, with Beechcraft equipment also used. Aklak belongs to no global alliance.
