Akasa Air

Akasa Air, operating under the codes QP and AKJ, is an Indian low-cost carrier that launched in August 2022 and builds its operation around principal bases at Mumbai and Bengaluru, alongside further bases including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pune and Kochi. The network is predominantly domestic, spanning metro and regional cities across India, with a smaller short- and medium-haul international arm concentrated on the Gulf and nearby markets, serving points such as Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi. The fleet is all-Boeing, currently around thirty narrowbodies made up of 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft. The airline is not part of a global alliance.
