airblue is a privately owned Pakistani carrier, headquartered in Islamabad and operating from bases at Islamabad International, Karachi's Jinnah International and Lahore's Allama Iqbal International airports. Its network is built around domestic trunk routes linking Pakistan's main cities, plus short and medium-haul international services to the Gulf and Saudi Arabia, including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Medina. The fleet is all-Airbus, drawn from the A320 family, with A320s and A321s handling most flying and A319s used on thinner routes. airblue is not a member of any global airline alliance.

Lahore to Dubai, I travelled the very first time for Dubai. It is my very first experience to travel in any air flight. The crew got their job done in serving the tiny sandwiches (more like bite size) and drinks.The flight was delayed 2 hours without any reason given. On the return leg, the delay was 90 minutes again without any reason. Overall it was a pleasant journey and it offers good value for money. Recommended but only as a second choice.
